He was born in Taipei, Taiwan (Republic Of China / R.O.C.) on December 9,1976 at 7:37 am in a United States Navy Hospital. His mother (Chuang (Hilomei) Mei Huang Bowe) was an educated homemaker. He came up as a military brat his father (John Ernest Bowe, Sr.) (was a Vietnam veteran ) & traveled the world. Born also a medical child having open hear surgery at 4 weeks (one month old) for transposition of the great vessels. He was not born neither poor or rich, but dignified & grew up in the struggle . He did not have a heart condition, but he had a number or medical procedures done over the years including a pneumothorax (lung collapse as a teenager) His mother is from Asia in Tainan, Taiwan. She is half Chinese some say Taiwanese) & half Japanese. The Chinese side of her family is known as the Huang's. The same as the Huangdi's (Yellow Emperor or God). Her Japanese side of her family is known as the Sugai's & the Kokouno's, the ones who built the Yamagata Hotels. Then after many years he no longer claimed to be part of that organization. He continues to study Islam & all other kinds of religions & cultures. He considers it to be different schools of thought. He considers himself to be a spiritual person & that all human beings are created equal & the same. He does believe in God. some people consider him as the devil because of science & numerical mathematics. He was born December 9,1976. According to the Chinese zodiac, being born in the Year of the Red Dragon. (he was also born a blue baby named after his heart condition (Something The Lord Made starring Mos Def & Alan Rickman' s movie) prior to open heart surgery). Ernesto is back like he never left？Why do many say Johnny Dep, because of the characters & content in his movies is similar to a lot of things that happened on this road of life such as the movie Blow in 2001 & others. He lived out many real life situations & scenarios that some say kept him away from the music industry. Some of his critics think of him more as the Dana Plato (Kimberly on Different Strokes) of the music industry. A lifetime filled with personal problems & hardships. Not as much into such things as drugs & alcohol, but hustling, jail & prison.
Ernesto was well known in the music industry at one point & recorded for people such as Wendy Williams (who made it into the Radio Hall of Fame after 23 years& has her own television show) & Angie Martinez (Power 105.1FM). He was known to rhyme, produce, & put together pretty big & successful projects that acqumilated alot of credibility in the streets & hip hop & just music in general. Everything that he touched turned to gold or platinum went, some diamond successes or at least should've according to street music standards. The anticipation from his music fans is similar to that of being an eastern seaboard Dr. Dre. 15 to 16 years between the first Chronic album to the album Compton. The soundtrack music that came out along side of the movie Straight Outta Compton.
Ernesto completed some work during those years, but nothing really solid or complete came out after him & his team enjoyed some street diamond, platinum & gold success of an independently rereleased South Breed Album called "Tired of Small Hustlin" in the year 1999-2000. More Breed projects followed after another. Others that was part of his GCKZ team from New York & other places such as Virginia, California, Georgia went on to release their independent projects under the name Game Rebellion.
Ernesto had nothing to do with the recording of some of those projects & videos but he was there during certain studio sessions, rehersal & performances. His presence & inspiration was felt & the word"kamikaze" is shouted out in their music & so did South Breed on their song US." Some other known artists such as Tupac, Rihhana & T.I. , Twista & others have mentioned this word that shows his/their influence on the streets & the industry & the world. It seemed that many showed him & his team love by shouting them out during periods of their absence. Game Rebellion collaborated on a song with Ernesto featuring Sharon Bryant from the platinum selling group Atlantic Starr called GoldenChild Trust.
Ernesto dropped some songs here & there over the years, but seems that it was too long until he came back out with something he completed or he help to complete. When Ernesto goes into the studio, regardless of what he's doing in the session, the song always comes out like it could be a classic hit. Everything he does or records comes out hot & or classic yet he always remains so humble. Ernesto has the ear for how music is supposed to sound which explains how he earned a position on production teams on radio stations such as WQHT HOT 97.1FM, WRKS KISS FM, CD q101.9 FM, WLIU 88.1 FM, & WOR 710 AM in New York City. "You make it in New York, you can make it anywhere!" Those weren't the easiest places to get into in the early days of his career. He worked in production along side WBLS 107.5FM production manager, gold & platinum producer Chris "In The Mix" Mercado. Chris Mercado earned a music plaque for a remix song he produced for the group Intro.
Ernesto always found himself working around & with award winners. The song "Bounce" by South Breed won an ASCAP Award for best rhyme of the year. Miracle got sued by certain of those for unagreed upon use of the song. Others in South Breed went on to do songs with Manny Fresh, Birdman, YMCMB, Jazze Pha, T.I. & others. Ernesto has song written ideas or inspiration for Grammy Award Winner Ludacris Bridges called Area Codes. Even their cousins know each other (Malir Burks). Some in the Breed recorded songs with Chico Debarge in Los Angeles in a remix with Adina Howard. They put out another album with half the breed & another added member named Big Asia, called Tha Breed, "GMI, Georgia's Most Infamous" which many are fans of. Whether recognized or not for his musical achievements, he is an honorary award winner that he almost shys in the photography. Not putting out music & hearing more bad stuff than good stuff, in any ones lives, these rumors had out shadowed the music.
Ernesto does feel that there is a difference between music & the music industry. He got away from things within his life because he set some milestones on the road of life. He discusses that in a whole host of short interviews & some a longer length. But the questions y & where. Or should we say where is yz, the streets know who he is. Ernesto & yz is the same person. Still, that is no excuse to not come out in all those years. & most of his fans want to hear an Ernesto project of just him that is in the works. No real direction in the music industry, but he has quoted Candi Burruss from Housewives of Atlanta & of the group Xcape said, "You need to wear a lot of different hats when in the music industry just to survive." So from production to projects to his own projects coming out soon, do we have the right to be mad at Ernesto? Most have loved & cared for Ernesto over the years of his trials & tribulations, but now, in this year, claiming to be reborn again, has come out with an explanation to where he has been. Most of the his fans stayed with him or at least other parts of the GCKZ team. The thing is, everyone has their own direction in life & have the right to live how they want if they aren't harming other is what Ernesto believes.
He also got a lot of family from brothers to cousins who range from the streets to wall street. So where have they been? Ernesto, who's name is John Ernest Bowe, Jr & family to the Huangs, is on a mission, but to what, where, & what is the message now. He has been raising his children & family for years as others.Bob Dylan gave one tv interview in 20 years. Fans wanted to know, those that isn't mad at him are giving him a chance to explain. If it's personal demons, how long does that take to rid of? The anticipation of his answer to his fans is as real as the actions of EJ Dimera on Days of Our Lives played by James Scott. Ernesto is rumored to having a hard time to knowing if he wanted to be a bad guy or good guy. & sometimes he was both. Regardless, we hear that he finally has made a what we hope to be a permanent return to the music industry, but if not, at least leave us with your complete projects to remember you by & keep it moving.
The love of music is one thing, but Ernesto's fans & others, learned to love him & themselves through a deeper understanding of this thing we called life. Many fans & neighbors became his friends. He even considers all his social network friends & subscribers as real friends so of course they are not mad at Ernesto. He was once F.B.I.'s Most Wanted (America's Most Wanted), one of the youngest ever to be on such a list. So now that we are living for now & the future, we know Ernesto dramatically & drastically changed. Those that know him say he did. Others haven't seen the changes, just the same old troubles. But if you talked to Ernesto years ago compared to talking to him now, you would think it was a whole different person or someone you never met before if you haven't already met him. So what's different & new about this Ernesto, not in music, but in personal life, which could effect his music. So whether back to stay or not, we know that Ernesto, the Johnny Dep to our music industry is back for at least a TIME being.
He grew up a medical child or should we say a child with health issues but wasn't sickly. At just 4 weeks old, he had open heart surgery performed on him by a Japanse surgeon/ doctor in Hawaii. He had a pneumo thorax, a lung collapse at the age 15 or 16 & had surgery then. He had many other procedures & check ups between & after then. From the beginning his heart was set on revolution & certain people in the spiritual world thinks one of his incarnations is being the reincarnation of Ernesto Che Guevara. He has come back to us through sounds & frequencies & through the blessing of God as all of us. Although this time around he was born in Taipei City, Taiwan, R.O.C. (Republic Of China). An island nation 300 kilos off the east coast of China which is known as a renegade province. His Asian name is Long Long which means Dragon in Chinese, the year he was born in the Chinese Zodiac (Opposite but not conflicting of the Western horoscope). Gino Green Global is all over the hip hop industry. Ernesto knowing athletes & movie stars. In 2005 he went to California/Mexico to marry Cybill Shepherd (the movie star from TennesseE).
